| Don't panic, I've arrived! Hi all, I'm Shandy. I don't specialise and enjoy going out for anything I can hook, but I do enjoy river fishing for wild brownies the most! Here for tips, northern news if possible and a laugh with like-minded anglers. Also into a bit of homebrew and wild food, but I guess this is the wrong forum!     |

Funnily enough, I was scoping the river next to where I work at dinner, checking where each of the three pods of trout were, and I was thinking; 'ah, raspberry bush - jam; blackberries - ripe for picking soon, jams, wines; hawthorn berries (already had the blossom) - wine; rowan berries - hmmm, what can I do with you; oak leaves - too old for wine now?' You get the picture! |
