Introduction and Querie

Hi, first time poster here.

I am quite new to fishing, but it is a hobby I would like to get into more as I find it very relaxing and sociable.

Can anyone recommend any quiet fishing spots in the West Country that create a romantic atmosphere?

Possibly an unusual request, but there is a person who I want to ask to come fishing with me, and I hope to choose a nice, quiet, romantic setting for the day/evening, where I hope the person in question will become my boyfriend.

His name is Travis Brain and we both share a passion for the same football team, so we have that common interest already, and I am hoping if he is interested in fishing I can choose the perfect setting to invite him out and let my intentions known.

Though I'm sure you don't want to know about all that!

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Wish me luck.

First of all welcome hodges.

Good luck with the romantic fishing venue, I think to be honest most fishermen are not that romantic, I am sure a good woman and an interest in his hobby will make any venue romantic. If you like sea fishing a little cove and a glorious sunset should do, maybe a couple of beers and a kebab on the way home too, lucky guy will be in heaven.
