| Hi everyone could you help me choose rods/reels... Hi all after going fishing for the first time in ages ive got the bug again and am in need of some tackle! Basically im looking for a matching pair of rods and reels looking to spend around £100 on each rod and reel so £200 in total. Im mainly going to be fishing for carp up to around 10lb also tench etc. I will be usind 1 rod for ledger and 1 for float, i was thinking of quiver tips possibly john wilson avon will these be any good, strong enough etc? I f you could point me in the right direction it would be a massive help many thanks!     |

| Re: Hi everyone could you help me choose rods/reels... hi lenny,welcome aboard mate,i would recommend a nice pair of shimano catana 2 1/4lb tc rods and a couple of diawa regal baitrunners, they are quality rods and reels and you should get change out of your £200 , |
