Thumbs up new to sea fishing

Hi,

live up in northumberland, near bamburgh, anyone recommend some good marks for a beginner ? tried Craster on Monday caught zip, very muddy water, not sure if this make a diff ? lots of other people out, mainly off the rocks, not so willing to talk or help so thought I'd give this forum a go, seem a helpful crew ?

Not an expert on your area of country. However Muddy and coloured water = Cod. The poorer the visibility the better the fishing seems to be.
Make sure you use big juicy baits, like whole Calamari Squid, Lugworm or if you can afford it Peeler Crab. I know they work well along that part of the coast.

Good luck.
