 sea fishing Hi, new to the forum, i have been sea fishing (beach) for just over a year now, my name's jason i'm from taunton somerset, I fish the bristol channel a lot, i do some match fishing once a month, i try to fish once or twice a week. my best fish is a smoothhound of 9Ib.     |

| Re: sea fishing Hi Ramsey, welcome aboard. I'm not far from you and like you I fish the BC a lot. Mostly Blue Anchor, but my last few trips have been dreadful. I was reminded a week or so back that there's a meet being arranged for later this month on the BC. I've been to a couple and met a really good bunch so you might want to try and get along. FISHING FORUM bristol channel meet/comp There's a poll about the venue which currently has Layde Bay as favourite followed by Portishead and Blue Anchor. I don't think the date has been fixed yet.
