help needed

Hi my name is Allan

I have been looking at the different places to fish on your website as I have been trying to find out who runs the pond at daisy hill Westhoughton its on the old aero space land. Next to daisy hill train station. I have been asking around and have managed to find out a name of a club its called park hall angling club with a nickname of the A6 boys. Every fishing shop that I have tried, they don’t know how to contact them, any help you can give me in locating them will be most appreciated.

Yours Allan

Re: help needed

Hi Allan, welcome to the forum.

I did a bit of searching online for you, all I can find out is that the lake had some major work done on it earlier this year, possibly a leak, but the rumour is someone has bought the land and wants to build on it so is trying to discourage anglers right now. Do not know if it is true but that was all I could find online. Good luck in finding out more.

Mike

Re: help needed

Hi mate, don't know anything about that bivvy, but have you looked at the JRC STI shelter with the overwrap to turn it into a bivvy? good bit of kit, put it up in minutes and very sturdy.
