Just starting beachcasting after a twenty year break ,will be christening my new rod and reel at barmouth in a few weeks .
My main pursuit is fly fishing in the west country -Blagdon ,Chew and Clatworthy being my usual haunts
Im hoping to pick up some tips on sea fishing from some of you guys ,its a bit of a culture shock swapping my fly rod for the beachcaster

Welcome to the forum Geoff. I often fish Chew & Blagdon myself.
You should be able to get plenty of advice on Beach fishing on this forum. Theres a fair few members who fish the south coast & Bristol Channel. Ther'e a friendly bunch & always happy to give advice.

Cheers for the warm welcome ,Greenheart I tend to fish from the bank at blagdon in between my jaunts to Clatworthy , not ventured out much recently, Im also a member of Knowle angling who have a few small stillwaters and some nice stetches of the river chew,I will have to dig out some pics of these venues .
