| Hi all Ive been looking through the threads over the past couple of days and cant get over how friendly the banter is on here compared to other sites ive been on. Every credit to you all. I was introduced to this site by a lovely young lady (I think thats what she told me to say anyway) so I had to come and have a nosey. I started coarse fishing many years ago bouncing a worm down the Afon LLwyd in Cwmbran, Gwent. Due to moving to Blackpool and work commitments it got put on hold for a while. I eventually got my tackle out a few years back (after a divorce)  and started to get back into it. Unfortunately 2 years ago I was finished from work due to health problems. I found it hard to sit for long periods on a seat box watching a float, so my now lovely new wife has bought me a cheap carp set up.  Im very lucky that she is interested in fishing so I get all the help getting to the bank and set up. The only problem is that she only likes catching carp off the surface in the summer so ive been forced to be a fair weather fisherman. Ive only been once this year so far and I beat my PB with a Mirror of 17lb 6oz. within 15 minutes of having my rods out. It would be great to see if there is anybody up this end that wouldnt someone tagging along now and then. Hope to chat and get some advice soon. Mick     |
