Re: Bb12 Hi BB12, Welcome to the Forum. I am sorry that I cannot answer your questions as I am not aquainted with your area, however if you want information on how to target a specific fish I will try and help. There is a search engine on the site, if you are in the need of urgent answers, type in a word or two and I will guarantee that someone will have asked the same question before and you will at least have something to work on. I mainly "Charter Fish" but I am sure the regular beachcasters will be along sometime today to assist you. Tight Lines Drew __________________ All that Glitters is not Gold

Welcome to the forum BB. A good starting point is to see what other anglers are fishing for there & how they do it. Also ask in your local tackle shop.

Re: Bb12 if your a total newby to the would of sea fishing you cant go far wrong with a running ledger! as your off a peir a massive cast isnt the order of the day as most the fish will be hanging around the structer! dont go for the horizon at first just think a few yards out! (an easy under arm sorts this) get your self on the right side! (fliking a match or any other bio degradable floating object) will tell you wich way the tide is running! idealy u want the tide running towards you! when you flike your bait out the scent trail off your bait will go under the peir to hungry fish! (hopfuly) i dont know your peir personly but find it a wast of time giving it a big cast as most the fish will be lurking in the structuer (bass) arfter all thats the whole reason of fishing a peir (for me!) find out your target species!(ask an angler fishing the peir u will find them a friendly bunch mostly if your serious about it) have a search about on the web as far as tackle and tactics go (mine of info) get hold of some good quality bait! and hit it with confidence! oh and get your kit somewher else (as far as i see anybody worth ther salt working in a tackle shop that isnt happy to give good honest advice and is more concernd with cash is a wast of time!) ive a local shop but i travel 20 miles to a decent well stocked shop with freindly staff! (maybe a messag to any tackle shop owners out ther) __________________ SCUPPER A COMMERCIAL TOOOO DAY!
