 help !!!! areet everyone ?? i have been fly fishing and coarse fishing for a while now and am just getting into beach/pier fishing, i have been told cullercoats(south side ) or king edwards bay are good does anyone have any advice ?? cheers     |

Well i havent fished there personally but i have heard its pretty good. you may have heard of a place called Horden near Blackhall rocks or blackhall colliery? theres a very good shingle beach there where you only need a 60 or 70 yard cast to be right on the fish. Hartlepool is also full of good marks, like parton beach, the middleton pier, the south gare, the promenade, twin steps and so on. theres good bass fishing around the staincliffe hotel in seaton carew as well, and parton rocks (next to parton beach). all of these marks are eaily gotten to and i fish them regularly with the normal method, a 5 or 6 oz lead, 2 hook rig, a pulley or rotten bottom rig for the rough ground with size 2 to 4/0 hooks. A word of warning though! be VERY careful if you ever decide to fish the heugh pier at hartlepool, as it has claimed lives in rough seas with people being swept away in rough seas, due to a lack of a front wall. __________________ "Alright Jack, we all ready to fish?"
