| Re: What's happening in the North East? wednesday night 26th oct , Fishing Saltburn peir 8pm - 12.30am 18 whiting (all thrown back ) & 1 3lb 3oz cod , all caught on squid toped with mackrel , mate with me caught 12 whiting sea very calm , slight wind , & rain held off so good night had by all ....... |

| Re: What's happening in the North East? Out last night on Blyth Pier. Very cold but dry night. Only fourth time Sea Fishing and caught 2codling and a rockling. Me best catch yet. Apparently there were a lot of cod caught that morning. I was using rag and lugworm tipped with mackerel. |
