Sadlos is on a distinguished road
Fantastic Charter Day At Whitby

Sadlos Reporting!

Having been out of the loop for a couple of weeks due to working upon the Royal Ascot duties, hence no fishing etc. and with the heat and all, I really missed having the chance to get offshore for a knock.

So, as soon as the deed was done, my fishing buddy Ann and I rewarded ourselves with a day off work on Monday the 20th June and we took a really great charter with very experienced skipper Paul Killpatrick (Killer) on Sea Otter II out of Whitby. What a great day! - Brilliant weather, medium tides. Although we both lost a bit of terminal gear due to Paul repositioning the boat over the bigger wrecks and rough stuff, but it certainly produced results! - No small fish caught at all between the customers, with a good range of 6-12lb Cod, double figure Ling, plenty of Pouting and a first for me, an 8lb Wolf-Fish. (Ugly as sin), but I am informed that they are very tasty. - Suntanned and absolutely worn out, we got back to the harbour-mouth around 4.15pm, but with a 15 minute chance to bash the Mackerel, which were falling to luminous Hokki's by the 6's.
A Great day!

We've both booked again with 'killer' for the Whitby boat angling festivals, so hoping not only for the rush of a big 'un but also maybe some £££'s prize money!

Enjoy your boat days, and let me know if you run into anything interesting.

Tight-Lines Chaps!
