Dear NE Forum members:

Just a first contact with you all. Being a new member I have been hovering for a few days to suss out how the forum works and how to view the huge amount of very useful information. Thanks!

As it states in my posted biog, I am a returning sea angler after having been too busy with my work to seriously have time to get out as much as I would have liked. Bought a load of new tackle on e-Bay and local traders in the Scarborough/Whitby area and have had a fabulous time in the past year or so.

Main interest will probably be charter boat angling from Whitby and Bridlington at the moment, but have also enjoyed feeding the fish with expensive bait from the shores around Scarborough. Still trying to locate some fishy marks within reasonable travelling distance from around where I live.

Most recent report being an afternoon session on Friday 6th May at Bridlington when I took a couple of nice plaice from the harbour wall overlooking the south beach. Saw about 4 (looked like) well informed regulars who were fishing very close in under the spa. Wonder what they were after??

Thanks for the great forum. Look forward to contacts on the N.E local buddies thread.

Rick

Re: Sadlos

Hi M8
i fish Brid. quiet often and those blokes under the spa are after bass in the waves, you often find 1 or 2 at the shallow end of the peir as well. You'll find me further up usually wearing a black n dark-orange jacket or fishing waistcoat. I don't have tackle box's i use a black n decker tool trolley on wheels. I'll not b there for a week or 2 but will drop u a message when i'm next off for the day.
