I'm thinking of fishing either Immingham or Grimsby next Wednesday evening depending on tides. What baits and rigs would you suggest? Also, where are the best locations on the two places? Thanks for any help.

Hi.

I haven`t been to the wall for a few weeks so i don`t know whats on the move and couldn`t recomend what bait is best. Also as for what setup to use depends on where you fish, because it goes from a muddy bottom to a sandy bottom. I STRONGLY recomend that you go at low tide and recon the whole wall because there are good and bad places to fish. Bad being furthest from Grimsby in my books, if you check it out you`ll see what i mean. Also try getting a hold of Stan. because he lives pretty local and fishes that area quiet often.

Catchya Keith...........

Hi there Pross, i live in Grimsby and regulary fish at the back of Great Coates with my son.You take the main road straight through Great Coates village this leads you to the Humber bank.Rigs we use are 2 hook flapper with ragworm as bait.Up to just recently we have been catching some small flatties and soles but at presant plenty of small whitings about. Tides should be high next week but havnt looked at times yet. We,ll be fishing there tomorrow morning.

Thanks, let me know how you get on. High tide when I'm there should be mid afternoon so should get there just before high water so won't get a chance to check it out before. Hope there's some flatties around.
