Sea well away...

Hi all

Just thought that I give a short catch report from the Northeast coast....

I went down to Horden beach this morning at low water and the fishing was crap to say the least....

The sea was practically unfishable at low water,I waited and waited for the water coming back in,after losing 6 or 7 shockleaders, rigs and weights I started to hold bottom as it came to high water...

So after starting to hold the bottom I switched from Running down and razor to whole squid and went up to a No 6 pennel pulley....

First cast after switching rigs and baits I pulled a nice 2.5lb codling a shore, did'nt get a photo as I was properly knackered when got in so I filleted it straight away and got 2 nice fillets that is now sitting in the freezer

Thanks for listening Jamie...
