My first codling and bass...

Hi all

Just thought that I'd let all members know that we went off Horden beach lastnight and the sea was well away excellent conditions....

Started with first cast and pulling my first ever bass in,about 1lb 1/2 but never the less still my first bass....

Night went on with some excellent bites,I stoke into a very nice first only loss it on the final wave off the beach,my thinking was this is not going to be my night...

But low and be next cast on a running down and razor clam bait stoke into a nice fish, and I pulled my first codling in with the help of a friend, approx 4lb in weight, to say that I was over the moon was an understatement....Heres the end result....

Thanks for listening....

Jamie

Re: My first codling and bass...

Well done on your two "firsts". Have a look at Picture Posting on the Forum and this will help you show images on the forum. Good to hear some reports from The land of the Prince Bishops. I lived in Ferryhill 20 years ago and on the odd occasion I wet my lines up there. I never caught bass on that coast, but there are loads on the south.
