| Golden Grey Hi All I havent posted on this site for sometime and keep coming back to have a look. I just thought I would post a report of a Golden Grey that I caught at Newlyn Harbour last Sunday. A new Cornish Record the fish weighed in at 2lb 9oz 15drams. Between 3 of us we caught over 20 fish...mostly GG's but a couple of Thick lips as well. Put up a hell of fight. Tactics 4lb main line straight through to a size 10 widegape hook. Mackerel flake as hook bait. Fantastic session and just goes to show that you can catch mullet nearly all year round.     |
