Thumbs up Golden-Grey Mullet from the Black Sea.

I've just came back from two weeks holliday in Bulgaria.
Had an exellent time with some wanderfull sea fishing.
I fished the beeches at Sinemoretc, Shkorpilovci, Fichosa, Kabakum and Tuzlata. Cought 68 Golden-Grey Mullet on harbor rag on 3 flapper rigs.
Huuuge fun!!!
Here are some pics from my trip:

Thanks Wellyfish!
Yes, it is fabulous! A pint is 30p!!!!!
In the autumn there is blue fish(skipjack, taylor) to be cought on toby lures.
Fantastic sport and they are the most delicious fish in the sea.

Nice fish Vlad top man.

Looks like a decent place to fish mate!

At 30p a pint I can guess what the locals do in their spare time!

Re: Golden-Grey Mullet from the Black Sea.

Thanks Norfolkboy, Old Smoothound and Richard!
It is very different fishing out there from what we are used to.
All the fishing is done with very light tackle, there are no tides there. The bigest tide is just under a foot :-)))
The locals drink mainly local staff called rakia. Something like the greek uso.
It is an evil staff mate, deadly, 60 degrees alkohol.
My mouth still burning :-))) After two shots you are ready to take on a bill-fish :-)))

Re: Golden-Grey Mullet from the Black Sea.

Hi Vlad,

I have bought a villa in Shkorpilvtsi and am going out there in 4 weeks for a holiday. Glad to hear you had a good time and successful fishing. Could you tell me if you took all your tackle and bait with you or did you buy any of it there and if so whereabouts.

Thanks a lot
Marcus.
