One of my fav fish is the mullet!! was planing on a trip today but being me i didn't decide till this morning and couldn't find my mulleting reel!! grrrr turned the house upside down and still haven't got so it looks like I'm gonna have to save a bit of money up and buy myself a new one!!

And have to agree with you there nestle.......such good fun once you have hooked them but there little buggers when trying to get them to feed!! lol

tell me about it m8 i spent all last summer trying and didnt catch one lol iam still awaiting my first mullet lol its going to happen this yr iam sure off it lol i wont be giving up till i got one lol

good luck for this year mate and I'm sure your have one in the net before you know it!! When i started fishing for them it took ages before i landed one but after a few years i was lucky to net my PB of 6lb 8 which was nice!! went like stink cause the water was really flooding out of the river!! great stuff on a quivertip!

yer i cant wait my uncle who i fish with keeps rubbing it in hes had one and tells me all about it lol

i dieing to find out wot they fight like then having the pleasure and releasing a fish that for me is the most beautiful fish in the see the mullet :)

there are a lot of mullet in dartmouth boat harbour round the 3lb mark, and they come in the harbour at very low tide and high tide .

hi

I was at budleigh last mth 10/08 and was speaking to a local and said there are mullet on the otter ,up by the wooden bridge , i when to have a look and coul;dnt belive what i saw there must of been 20 to 30 mullet in a big shoal breaking serface and at least another 15 fish not far away and more spread out - why i didnt have the correct gear god knows , i know where i will be going next time .
