Might want to try bread flake rather than a big ball too. If you aren't plagued by sea birds then roughly chop slices up with your hands and throw them in relatively dry so some sink and some float. If there are sea birds then a bucket , some bread and some sea water, royughly mash and throw in. Not sure if this will help this time of year though. Oh , and it IS supposed to be this frustrating. I personally rate mullet as my favourite fish, well worth the effort. Already been said, welcome to a world of frustration.

Ill have a crack at it this weekend if the weather clears up, fingers crossed ill get some action.
have been told that they start to feed around 4pm... theory is that most of the boats return to the harbour around this time and clean off the decks ect, so instead of early morning fishing ill leave it till the afternoon.
