More Mullet

Went to beaulieu river for another 3 hour session after the mullet.got there at 6pm,walked to the jetty i always fish of only to be greeted by a river full of rain water draining from the new forest.didnt fancy my chances,started groundbaiting and to my surprise they started feeding.set up my carp rod with 6lb main line,flounder float and 4lb hook length size 8 hook.after an hour got a cracking take of the surface,waited for the float to disapear and set the hook.after a 15 minute fight guided the fish into the net to be greeted a mullet weighing in at 5lb10 .went quiet after that,so got the lures out an spun a few schoolies out.not a bad 3 hour session.of to sowley tonight,spoke to a mate who fished down there last week who had smuts to double figures,he said there was a father and son who had 3 stingray out,the biggest going to 18lb,fingers crossed i can get into the rays
