Cool Reel Deal

Hi there , I am looking to buy a spinning reel for basically holiday usage a couple of times a year. Can any one recommend a fixed spool front drag model for lures/spinners 30-60 grams, line capacity approx 150mts 10lb. Price range is up to £40.
Cheers Barry.

I believe the Penn Captiva is within that price range. RRP is a bit more but theres lots of deals advertised. Not used one myself but It's been getting some good write-ups & i,m thinking of buying one. It's got lots of bearings, 10 I think & is supposed to be very smooth & well built. Some of the freshwater carp reels may also be worth considering.

Re: Reel Deal

Hi there , I have been struggling to find any Okuma force reels , but I have been advised to look at either an Abu garcia C303 front drag or an Abu garcia CSW 174. Does any body have any thoughts or comments about these reels.
Cheers Baz.

Re: Reel Deal

not all the sale bits on the website, infact the website does'nt do them justice, if you are up this way just pop in to either of their shops, specialy the darlaston one its not like a shop its more like a warehouse and its about 5 mins from the motorway, ( walsall junction )
