The search for 710 A woman came in a Garage and asked for a seven-hundred- ten (710). All looked at each other, and the mechanic asked, "What is a seven-hundred-ten?" She replied, "You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine. I lost it and need a new one. It had always been there." Woman a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like. She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710 !! He then took her over to another car which had the hood up and asked, "Is there a 710 on this car?" She pointed and said, "Of course, it's right there." Now go to the photo below to learn what a 710 is...... ... .... ... ... ... ...... ... ... .... ... ... .... ... ... ... ...... ... ... ... ... ... ..... ... ... ... ![]() Last edited by pingu; 12-15-2009 at 12:27 PM.

True story. An old dear drove into a village garage where a mate of mine worked driving an old Austin 1100 Princess & asked my mate if he knew how to turn the lights on, as it was it was starting to get dark. He asked her if it was a new car. No she said, i've had it for nearly 10 years, just never driven in the dark before..... ![]() __________________ Don't Judge My Path If You Haven't Walked My Journey...

Re: The search for 710 Ive heard that 1 meany of times befor. Ive had loads of people come in to garages ive worked over the years. I had 1 guy in his 30s come in for a new gearbox because he couldnt get revers he was driveing it like it for 3years till he saved up to get it done. He had his wife and 2 kids push it if he need to go backwards. The guy didnt know he had to lift to coller on the gear stick to put it into revers. Got called out on a brake down by a nice young girl thats only been driveing just over a week. She ran out of petrol and didnt know she had to put petrol init. Had a women come in with her washers not working it was out of water she thought the rain filled it up. Had a amercan women come in With all the indicaters flashing and a red light on the dash she thought the car was going to blow up she only knocked the hazards on. Had quite afew people fill there oil to the top of the engine. Or put it in the wrong place. One of the garages i worked at was on the side of a very busy petrol station use to have atleast once a week someones put the wrong fuel in.

Re: The search for 710 My wife still thinks the washer bottle fills itself that the car is electric and that the oil changes every 5000 miles because it just does. Interesting how I can cook wash up, clean and iron clothes, vacuum and even clean the house but she wouldn't know where the oil filler cap was or what to do with it BUT it's ME that doesn't understand anything or do my fair share. I was there the one night when she suddenly said "I'll tell you what why don't we swap places for a change". "Wahay! " thinks I so I roll off roll over , close my eyes and wait. next thing I hear is "schtish" and a loud fart. She's only sat up reading "Improve your coarse fishing", drinking one of my cans of lager and ignoring me.... __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk
