Orange Broadband not working

I have not been able to connect via my Orange router for a week because of "PPP Server Down". I called the help line and they blamed it on the BT line - they said they would email me when they had fixed it! I got sick of calling them and decided to sign up for a dial up account. Painfully slowly I searched the net and found a fix. Just plug back in my old alcatel frog modem. Now I am back up running again. Why do these experts tell you a load of rubbish? Now much happier, I will go to Dungie in the morning and spend some time fishing in preperation for Thursdays HASSRA comp.

Had probs myself on orange,just moved 4months ago was told will be up and running in 2 wks nada,was still waiting 4wks later,got rid off them,recieved bill in post for£23-£24,for cancellation charge,not paying,been with them more than 18 months,and original contract with wanadoo,no new contracts sent by orange.Oh and the calls all went to indian sub continent,no understand each other,so orange saying will waive charge as a gesture of good will,make of that what you will.
