You might be bored of my posts already, but after two trips already i got my bite into sea fishing on a monthly basis. To be able to do this Once a month and in the present financial climate. i need a nice pool of fishermen from my area who be interested to go once a month or every other month. What started off with just workmates and the added family member has doubled to chartering the boat rather than securing individual places. The boat can accommodate a party of twelve, but for space wise ten is ideal. £50/55 8HR/12HR

i plan to go out once a month on a Saturday, and usual provisionally book a date three to five weeks after the last trip, then send a deposit when i get it, to save time hounding people for thier deposits or money i have decided to operate a rolling deposit fund. what this means is

1- All fishermen who would like to come monthly/every other month/or occasionly will pay a extra £10 on top of their FIRST boat trip which ranges from £50-(8hr) £60(12hr)
£100 will be given to the skipper as a rolling deposit.
If you wish to secure a space on any trip a £25 deposit is needed at least a fortnight before the trip- The rest payable on the day.
2- hopefully a good 10-15 regulars will put into it knowing that when we plan a date it is secured straight away and we are not gazumped by someone who gets there deposit in first.
3- This fee is refunded when a fisherman decides he does not want to fish any more

4 - if you dont own your own rod reel and tackle- the boat comes with thier own stuff- they are primative- and the skipper will charge you on the spot £4 for any rig set up lost.

5-on top of this i will be investing in purchasing a bulk lot of fishing tackle/rigs weights etc for all types of fish- two reasons for this - saves u paying out £4- and you can leave your tackle box at home.

6- this of course can be added by donations or replacements though the year!!!!

7- Bait is usually provided by myself ragworm/squid
8- parking permits are bought from the skipper at £6.60
9- we usually take two cars

Normal Agenda 8hr trip
leave Warminster at 05.30- Reach Weymouth by 06.45
macies brekfast- buy bait - board boat - skipper will take us to where he thinks the fishing is good depending on tides - fish for good 6 hrs - return to shore by 16.30 - then a quick eat or hand wash at maccies b4 heading off home, halfway home we will stop off for a drink somewhere in the sticks and look back on the day.and the next trip which would already been booked and secured.
