| Hayling Island for a change ... Had an 0500 start on Sunday - nice LW spring tide so paddled right out to the end of Winner Bank - lovely clear water and soft sand ... felt like building a sandcastle ... followed the flood in along the edges for about 5/6 hours ... Well - lets just say it was a lovely sunrise ... Tried everything - every sort of plug & lure going - the Bass were not in the slightest bit interested - probably building sandcastles ... Que sera ... Only 2 highlights to the day - a tern that followed my lure right in about 2 foot above the water and hovered about 5 foot from the rod tip - looked at me and flew away amazing ! 2 Kayakers that appeared on the bank and proceeded to drag their yaks about a mile on foot to the beach WTF ... found out from a bloke on the beach they had inflatable Yaks and said they could not paddle against the wind ... ![]() ![]() __________________ SUPPORT THE RNLI - click : www.rnli.org.uk ... every little helps !
