| Langstone Run Had the afternoon off so wanted to fish the sand banks off winner (Hayling) but could not be ar*ed to drive round to Hayling and fight with the WAFI'S for launching space so thought I would nip down to Eastney by the ferry and launch & use the ebb flow to get out of the harbour to the banks - WRONG - what a flow ... having fished it from the beach a few time I knew it ran but out there bobbing up and down - there was no way I was risking that so decided to fish Langstone in the deep channels off the main run ... Faffed around for a while testing out my new mods & improvements on the Yak and decided to tie off to a mooring bouy ... within half hour the ebb was pouring out and being tied off on the edge of the flow - it got really hairy ... the stern started to sink lower and my butt started to twitch - easy undo and paddle off I thought - WRONG - could not untie and was gonna go over ... decided to let go the 99p leash and lived .... Deffo not worth the risk in this flow so paddled around to the inner beach and landed ... So pack up and re-launch at Eastney as J had a good session earlier but the call of a Hong Kong Sweet & Sour was just too much ...
