Need a yak to get me going - a P13 or something similar please?!

hello all
having moved down to eastbourne (after a lifetime on the Trent) I feel the need to cast a line in a new direction and can't think of a better way than from a yak (tho I'm clueless about salty tactics to be honest).
I need a decent starter option, preferably with a few bits of kit thrown in, that won't empty the bank or leave me yearning for more in a year or so.
I've read through various threads and thought the P13 or maybe the scupper pro could be good options.
Anyone got anything for sale or perhaps words of wisdom?

Try Anglers afloat mate. Theres always Yaks for sale on there, it's where i got mine.

used to have a prowler 13 great bit of kit although i got hacked off with the amount of faffing around which led me to sell it.

the scupper pro is a much narrower kayak and therefore more prone to tipping, i'd go for a prowler 1st out.
