| Southsea - The blocks Scrounged a couple of hours off work yesterday so decided to 'wet the Kayak. Fished about mile off the shore by the blocks - 1600 - 2000 Cold & wet, quite a swell to start with (thank goodness for Stugeron !) that smoothed off to make it a bit more comfortable but then it whipped up again ... Overcast & some rain - thunder as well - hid under one of the marker posts - it would get the lightning first ... my theory anyway. Had one small Plaice on rag - nothing else so paddled nearer to the shore and drifted through the blocks - just a small scorpion fish - the rag was bigger than he was ! Not the best session but deffo a pleasant way to spend the evening ![]() __________________ SUPPORT THE RNLI - click : www.rnli.org.uk ... every little helps !
