| Hi all, I am going over to Ireland during May and I will be going to the Atlantic side. I was wondering what fising can be had around there, I will be staying in Ballinrobe but can get to any area near there. Thanks for the replies. |

| Re: Atlantic Fishing I am going to do fresh water which is only a short walk from where I am staying, but I was wondering where there is to fish on the atlantic side, I just want to know where is best to fish from and with what. Also what I am likely to catch. All help appreciated. |

| Re: Atlantic Fishing shore fishing is very good in achill island and north mayo ie-belmullet along the coast the types of fish you are likely to catch are doggies,bullhuse,ray,flounder,turbot,mackerel,whit ing,conger eels, plus many more. that's shore fishing,if your interested. their is also the opportunity to go sea fishing on charter boats from westport such as lady helen. hope this helps regards sean. |
