| Galway I am hoping to pick up a job in Galway which will involve me going out there at least once a fortnight for an overnight stay from late winter / early spring for probably 6 to 9 months. Can anybody let me know what the fishing in and around Galway town is like? As its Ireland I'm hoping it will be excellent but not sure what to expect at the start of the job which will probably be around March. Also, can someone give me advice on travelling by air with fishing gear? Obviously in this day and age all the kit will need to go in the hold, is there any fishing tackle that is difficult to carry? | Re: Galway good luck with the job m8! hope you dont get stopped by some pesky customs officers checking for bombs in your reels or something lol. i wouldnt know much about irish fishing apart from the one episode of total fishing when matt hayes is talking to a skipper who says an average days fishing in ireland is like a very good days fishing in england! cheeky beggar...  __________________ "Alright Jack, we all ready to fish?"
