Hi fellas, I’m all packed and ready to go, just got to pick up a couple of last minute things after work at 1pm and then Me and the Wellyfish are meeting up and then we set off to Ireland for a weeks species hunting. Methods are going to include....spinning, bottom fishing, plugging, float fishing, fly fishing.  So flies, jelly worms, shads, feathers, hokkais, shrimp rigs, long & low, pulleys, and bombers are in the rig wallets, plus a couple of new rigs I’m going to try out. Baits will be Lug worm, Squid, Sandeel, crab and mackie. All the research has been done for possible marks species best times best baits BEST BARS etc, so it’s down to a fair wind and a bit of luck and PARACETAMOL.    So fingers crossed we may have some good weather. shame it wasn’t this week we would have had a helluva tan….. This time tomorrow we’ll be in the Emerald Isle…….. See you all in a weeks time. Those who are about to fish non stop for a week....we salute you! |
