Southern Ireland

Well, the annual holiday for the family is Waterford, Ireland. Anyone got any pointers for that area? Just taking sea gear this time. We're talking July/August so Bass springs to mind, but isn't the pollack fishing meant to be awesome there? Any advice much appreciated

Rob

Scarborough is about 50 miles south of my neck of the woods (Teesside), but great sea fishing up there. Whitby, Saltburn, Scarborough, even Bridlington and everything in between. Cod are caught from the shore in the summer, crazy!

Cool Re: Southern Ireland

Hi Rob,

Well you've picked a good time and place mate. Excellent fishing down there. For Pollock fishing just look for rocky headlands and tide races around the rocks for Bass and you won't go far wrong. And don't forget the Awesome Wrasse fishing...thers a few sepcies points for you already mate

And try this website.

http://www.cfb.ie/

Then go to the maps section for sea fishing in Waterford.

Have fun.
