What a trip even if you didn't get the tuna, some great species there. That is my favourite part of the world having spent 3 weeks there at a place called Ballywhorsky on Fanad Head about 20 years ago (frightening how long ago it was!!! ). Proper wilderness country, we had a mile plus long beach to ourselves at the height of summer and I caught my first ever fish there. Maybe we can get a forum shore trip arranged there at some point in the future, flights from Bristol to Belfast are about £20 each way.

Great read Guys, what weather! I would have been a dribbling mess in the bottom of the boat. It's a great skill being able to fish and puke at the same time, well done.

Guy's if you look at the picture closely you will see that the horizon is very high.....thats because the waves were blocking it out most of the time......!!!!!
