Latest New is our skipper hooked one estimated at 650lbs It leapt out of the water with the "Stinger" in its mouth...but on crashing back it bust the 400lb mono!!!!! More sightings have been made along the coastline we will be fishing The bait fish are starting to thin out a bit so the Tuna Pods will be competing with each other for the available food source, so we stand a better chance of the fish making a mistake in their eagerness to get the grub down them! ![]()

Some forum peps and myself will be going out on October 14th for a couple of days but only one day on the boat. But lots of hours will be put in in sampling the local brew....I think!

Re: "Giant Blue Fin Tuna - Part Deux Good luck with your tuna fishing lads. The person I refer to as the "Skipper" in my story about tuna fishing off Miscou Island, New Brunswick Canada, held the championship in world tuna fishing 1976 with a big fish weighing 1200 lbs. Never tie off a tuna line to the gunnels, or hand wrap a line while the bait is down. best regards, Deepsix.
