Post Tuna Fishing - Ireland 2005

Hi guys,

I know its a long way off, but is anyone interested in Tuna fishing in Ireland for a couple of days next year.

The maximum we can get Tuna fishing is four, at a push 6, but four is easier.
If you are interested please let me know as I am e-mailing the skipper tonight to ask for available dates (some people book 2 years in advance!) probably looking at late September early October.

Cost is down to how many go and air/ferry fares at the time. I will give estimates later for B&B, boat cost etc.

Post Re: Tuna Fishing - Ireland 2005

Skipper has e-mailed me, no definate dates yet as he has some Dutch guys who have reserved days. So full list in the next two weeks.

Cost of the Boat is circa 450Euros per day 350 Euros for standard fishing for Big Common skate, Blue Shark, Wrecking etc, which is very cheap compared to others in the area.

How about it John-Boy, Andy G, John Marshall, Audi Racer interested???

Loads a big fish

Whatever happens I am definately going!

Post Re: Tuna Fishing - Ireland 2005

Hi Guys,

The available dates are as follows:

The following are my definite free dates for next year.

October 14 - 23 incl.
25 27
29 onwards

I am already going in September as my pal books well in advance.

If anyone is interested in these dates i would go again but i would need to know fairly quickly.

The cost of the boat is 450 Euros plus circa £35 return flight from Bristol via Ryan Air. B&B circa 20 Euros per night (2 nights), includes Irish Breakfast. You'll need spends for Pub plus circa £40-60 for a hire car plus petrol £40, all rod hire is inlcuded, and if it gets too rough for Tunny fishing we go into a loch for oher species and the cost of the boat decreases to circa 350 Euros.

Let me know asap.

Smooth Hound -

I would be well up for it providing the I can convince my mrs to let me go or tow her along with a mate and send them off shopping for 2 days !!

Will put a final decision on the forum in the next couple of days mate.

Cheers
