| Which fish did I catch - The Philippines, Bacuit Islands (Also posted under "Asia") Hi fellow fishermen I am all new in the game. Just got a Ron Thomson telescope rod from my girlfriend for Christmas, went three weeks to The Philippines and caught a fish, which I do not know the name of. Could you please help a newcomer? http://www.flickr.com/photos/7553468...in/photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/7553468...n/photostream/ I used a Rapala Original wink for tropical waters - if you'r interested in knowing. Great for beach fishing at corals. Sadly, the second fish got away with my wink when the line snapped, caught absolutely nothing with my winks for Danish waters). And yes, I'm already quite hooked to the hole fishing thing ;-) Best regards Bjarke Aarhus, Denmark |

| Re: Which fish did I catch - The Philippines, Bacuit Islands If that was caught in the Phillipines, then it's likely some kind of snakehead. __________________ 2012 species: 13 All-time species: 65 New species caught in 2012: white sucker, popeye shiner, white shiner |
