River Ebro December

Alright guys i've just had a bit of luck and will be spending 10 days in spain in a villa on the river Ebro in December coming back 2 days before Christmas and i need some help
what tackle should i take with me and is it more Carp then Cats at this that time of the year any advice on tackle and tactics would be wicked

yeah i did can't say i'm a fan of the show i'm really interested in nabbing a big carp or two from the river

know what you mean think they could have got someone better to present it
but hey its a fishing programme and you dont get many on these days
