Re: News from Portugal!

Hi Steve!

OK! I'd speak with a friend from the area and he gave me the folowing advises:

Name of the boat: NÀUTICA RIO MINHO

Captain: Franklin

Mobil fone: 968492216

Place where he develops the charter: Marina de Albufeira

Other:

Name of the boat: REI PESCADOR

Captain: Saul

Móbil Fone: 919852097

Local where he develops the charter: Marina de Albufeira

Some more advises:

- Normaly they use to charge around 40 euros per day and person!
- Normaly they don´t include in the price gear and baits!
- Those are charters who use to work not for turists (hope you understand)

Soo, my advise is:

- Better you bring your own gear! If not, you contact the captain first and ask if he can arrange it!
- Anyway, you'll have to speake with the captain first! He will tell you watt kind of baits you have to buy and where to do it!

About the local! I said to you: MARINA DE ALBUFEIRA

OK! Albufeira is a vilage near Oura's Beach, and the name means, in english, Albufeira's Marine bay!

Hope I was usefull!

Best regards!

Ernesto

PS: My friend also tell me, that the other boats wich do charter, they work for turist! The choose is yours! Hope every thing goes smoud and nice! Have a nice time here in Portugal!

Re: News from Portugal!

Hi there!

First, I want to assume an error, the mesures I put for the rig I use are correct in meters not in inches! Sorry Maghouse! The inch is 2,45 cm and I did the translation like it was 25,4 cm! Sorry again!

Anwsering Chitlaw!

I don´t realy Know wath kind of fishing you know or did in Spain, but generaly we can say that is similar!

Depends a litle bit if you fish in Atlantic, Mediterranean seas or Islands, but we still can say that both are similar!

We can do Deep, Big game, Jigging, and, we can catch good fish depending on the areas and the way of fishing in ich area! The fishes also are similar, with some diferences, wich essencialy depends of water temperatures in certains month of the year.

If you want, I can be more especific! Just need you'll be more especific when you ask!

Best regards

Ernersto
