whats this

hello guys i was just looking in one of my fishing folders and came across this fish that i caught last year out off a local lake could some one tell me what it is it looks cross between gold fish and a crucian carp lol

Yep i would have to agree with Kevin, There is a lake i fish near where i live and the lake is full of them, mind you not as big as that one, very impressive

i was told thats the only one in the lake and there is couple off yellow ones aswell i caught it on pellet paste and thats the place i had my 21lb 4oz mirror carp from but i got a pic off it in a photo album but not on my machine

nice one perch king.
I to caught one similar in colour from a carp lake. I was informed it was common carp of 8lb 6 oz . this is genuine and as soon as I find how to send a photo I will do Lancelot

It is what would be classed as a Goldfish. Most likely it is a Goldfish / Common Carp hybrid, hence the size. I used to get quite a few in my Koi pond. No matter what I done I could not get rid of Goldfish or Common Carp that the last owner had put in there.
