i have probs identifying all the flatties. can someone tell me what this is please?




the eyes were on the right and it had the knobbly bits all over

To me it looks like a small turbot but dont quote me on that tho.

i thought maybe a turbot aswell tj but after some of the discussions ive seen here concerning flatties i thought id ask

Its the colour and pattern that lead me to a turbot.

Hate to put a spanner in the works chaps but it might be a BRILL,Although the BRILL is a little darker normally.

or it could be a brill

i think it is a turbot tho because a brill dont tend to be pointy at the side of their bodys, they are like flounder and are rounder.

Looking at the size of the hook it must have been damn hungry.

its actually 2 hooks. rig was a pennell up n' over with 3/0's. i was trying for that elusive small eyed ray thats been avoiding me since my last 1

I think that it is a small turbot. The colour and the description of the knobs all over the body sway me to the decision.

Well done anyway, its nice to see one being caught

definatley a turbot, i looked it up in me book, and the book is NEVER wrong!
