must see what is this fish ??????? eel

hi i found this on the bank of the river towy in south wales about 20-30mi up river there was only half of the fish there the rest had been eaten it looks was a tidy size tho and look at those teeth !! dose anyone what it is thanks

I think they live in both salt and fresh water. I have used them as pike bait, they feed on the blood of other fish. This intern makes them really bloody and leaves a good trail of sent for the pike to follow.

They be the gills alright. we used to get loads of them in the stream that ran through our village in Norfolk.The old gamekeeper used to go nuts at them cos they would get into his trout lake
