Poor Cod or Pout

I can never get these right - at least ID a Poor Cod !

Caught this on Friday - slightly different to all the Pout I was catching, this one had no distinctive stripes, bigger eye & much bigger barb and a very distinctive lateral line ?

What do you think ?

Re: Poor Cod or Pout

Hi Maghouse.

It is a big Poor Cod. The larger eye is the main give away.
