| For Greenheart - Icefishing lures used in Canada As Greenheart requested, as some of these lures I mentioned in another post are not known in your side of the pond here's some pictures. They are all used for vertical jigging. Can also be used from boats on open water. Although these are not the only ones used here they are some of the most common. AA battery used for size reference. Swedish Pimples. Darts sideways when jigged. ![]() Williams Icefishing jigs. Darts sideways when jigged. ![]() Rapala jigging minnows. Swims in circles when jigged. ![]() Airplane jigs. Swims in circles when jigged. ![]() BadBoyz jigs. Ususally tipped with some form of plastics as in the center picture. Balances nose down & simulates a minnow feeding on the bottom. ![]() Tight Lines:Rick __________________ Living proof that "Beer builds better bellies" Bought & paid for many times over |

| Thanks Rick. Some of those beasties look like they could be some killer Bass lures. Still intrigued by the Swedish pimple name though. Thought that's what Scandanavian women got when they went skinny dipping through an ice hole ![]() __________________ "The fish and I were both stunned and disbelieving to find ourselves connected by a line."
