Ice Fishing action southern VT with VIDEO report! A great day of ice fishing on Lake Sadawga in southern Vermont. We were hoping for some largemouth as there are some big ones in there, but unfortunately only landed pickeral. This place must be loaded with them. I'd say we probably we caught about 20 on the day all in the same general area. It was nice to have non-stop action all day long. Most fish caught in 10-12 feet of water on medium and small shiners on yellow jig heads. Here's the video. Hope you enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed the fishing!

Re: Ice Fishing action southern VT with VIDEO report! That's a vexilar. It's a depth and fish finder of sorts. Probably one of the funnest electronics in all of fishing. It uses lines to show bottom, fish, and lure. When the line of your lure meets up with the line of the fish being marked, you're going to be on! It's like playing a video game. You can stare at that thing for hours! Without it I probably wouldn't even ice fish. If you've never been ice fishing, or if you've never used a vexilar, i'd suggest you give it a try!

Look's good sport, but I'll bet it's cold on the feet, how thick is the ice.
