Congratulations, especially to the sea anglers, on clocking up the points in a year when the conditions have been so atrocious.

We have lost several boat trips this year due to bad weather.

Our own species hunt hasn't added much to our British list (only Char) but I've now clocked up over 400 rod-caught fish species world wide, and Certhia's bird list nears 4000 - which just goes to show it is ten times easier to see a bird than catch a fish
