Extra fish for the list

I notice that the freshwater list is missing a couple of fish.

namely the stone loach and the millers thumb ( and although we counted it last year the sturgeon)

One of the teams just caught a bullhead or millers thumb, should we and them to the list and credit them with the points?

I think we should as it is a valid UK freshwater species, caught on rod and line.

Maybe we should add a poll and get the consensus?

My opinion for what it's worth is if it is on the Collins pocket book of fish of UK and Europe then it should be allowed.

What I totally object to is sub species such as leather Carp and Skimmer Bream.

Give them the points!

I think Allis & Twaite Shad are missing too. Great sporting fish. Used to catch em on the River Monnow & Wye.

Oh Twiddler!!

I am sure you are not that naive. Ian has this amazing ability to land in a pile of manure and come out smelling of roses. He is more likely to catch a British record than blank.

I am sure there are loads more sea fish, I was only thinking of freshwater fish as it is a limited number native or common in uk waters.

The Allis shad was counted last year, if I remember correctly.
