Re: whats your current target fish

well coarse fishing wise i am now going to target big tench he he no only joking dave

until the rivers re-open i will target carp once the rivers re-open i will target carp on the fen drains for a challenge but will do some tinca bashing along the way

sea fishing wise i really want to get amonst the bass but i fear i have much knowledge to gain before i will feel confident in catching cofidently ,
there are other sea species i would like to catch and they are any members of the ray family and some pollock but i honestly think these will only get fished for if i happen to be on holiday in the area,s they are found .

but once septembers here it will be back to ZANDER and more zander

tightlines

Re: whats your current target fish

I'm after a Bass this summer, don't really care how it comes, but one on a plug would be extra special.

Re: whats your current target fish

Would love a 20lb Carp this year, and with Kev's help really believe I can achieve this.

Also, want to catch my first Tope and Smoothounds in August and not be outfished by Richard

Another target for me is to keep putting aside money for next year's trip.

Re: whats your current target fish

Apart from claiming my bream record back I want to break the 20lb barrier for carp (30lb would be nice!). Other than that, a smoothound, a barbel and a pike, none of which I've caught before

Rob

I want a bass, anything above legal size and I'll be a happy man. That's it really, I'm easily pleased...

Hi all,

Anything other than a Mackerel from the beach.

A double figure Cod from the boat.

Cheers

I haven't started fishing this year yet but i plan to get going this weekend with my first trip up the river.....aint been up there for a look but im hopeing the mullet have shown up early and thats my first target for the year!! a Pb of 6lb 9 would be nice but im to confident!

the second target for the year will be a stingray from climping in may or june of over 10lb once again looking for a Pb!

Third target for the year i will be chasing a Pb at the meet at the end of may down selsey for a smutt of 15-20lb

other then them three the rest of the year will be lots of big baits, live baits and bass rigs trying to claim my first double bass from the water.
