oh i forgot the gars....wouldnt mind getting a decent size one of them down my way.....only problem is i get bored of em after a few sessions of 30+ on a float! nether taken a weight of my biggest yet so anything over 2lb would be nice!

yep there in at the moment so i spose i should add that to my hit list!!

I always seem to just chuck em back and not bother about the size as they all seem to be simular sizes on the same tides for sum reason.....will have to record a weight this year and actully see if i can get a 2lber or not!

Havn't a clue either what the record is but im sure i will be surprised at how big it is!! lol i expect they get bigger then we expect! and yer most of the time i float of the pier.....normally on the head but the corner by the club (gar run) produces loads on a tight line! there in at the moment so maybe if a cant be arsed to get my bike out and cycle up river Saturday i'll give em a bash!

Ollie.

Re: whats your current target fish

The cod are just about finished for the season now but there are still some hanging around in the spring run so a nice double figure lunker would be nice to finish the season off.
Had a smoothy take my beach gear into the sea at St Donats once so i`d like some revenge.
Rays and bass are also high on my list and thats about it really.
