| Fishing Ravens point rock, Anglesey North wales Picked up my friend today to head for ravens point rock hoping for a good day out and we were not disapointed. Went to get some rag worm from the shop but they only had 1 pack left! Decided to get a cheap £30 rod and reel set just to throw some feathers in the water while i wait for bites. Not many bites at first but saw a guy next to us get a few Dab and codling. Decided to throw my feathers in and low and behold....  5 Mackeral on one line sweet!!! Saved them all for bait for another day so in the freezer now. Tried feathers again for around 30 minutes and not a sausage, i think i was very lucky. Next was the tiniest of bites ever which i thought was the wind, but i bought this little fella in....  So overall a good day, my friend got two dog fish which are the rats of the sea not mackeral like he thinks!!! Plus bait for another day!!! Hope you enjoyed my first report!     |
